MEDICAL CODER

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Coder to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in medical coding, a strong understanding of healthcare documentation, and the ability to ensure precise coding to facilitate timely reimbursements. This role requires accuracy, compliance with coding standards, and effective collaboration with clinical and administrative teams to support the revenue cycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Review medical records and clinical documentation to assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes.
- Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on provider documentation.
- Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with applicable coding guidelines.
- Review patient records for completeness and identify any coding discrepancies.
- Identify missing documentation and coordinate with relevant teams for clarification.
- Support claim preparation by providing accurate coding information.
- Identify coding-related claim denials and assist with necessary corrections.
- Maintain accurate coding records and documentation for audit purposes.
- Stay updated on coding guidelines, payer policies, and industry changes.
- Protect patient information and maintain confidentiality in accordance with regulations.

Required Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of experience in medical coding.
- Proficient knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical documentation.
- Familiarity with medical billing processes and revenue cycle management.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high coding accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- CPC (Certified Professional Coder) certification is a plus.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs39,000 to Rs100,000.
- Work location is in person at Bahria Town Phase 7.
