Job Title: Medical Coder
Location: Rawalpindi & Islamabad, Pakistan (On-site)
Employment Type: Full-Time (On-Site)
Salary: Rs55,000 - Rs80,000 per month

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Coder to join our expanding team in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing patient medical records and translating them into standardized insurance-accepted codes. Your work will ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and support smooth revenue cycle operations. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and coding guidelines, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Chart Review & Analysis: Receive, review, and evaluate patient charts, clinical documents, and medical records for accuracy and completeness.
- Code Assignment: Accurately assign ICD-10 and CPT codes to diagnoses, procedures, and treatments in line with official coding guidelines.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all coding practices comply with current legal requirements, coding conventions, and healthcare standards.
- Discrepancy Reporting: Identify missing information or documentation inconsistencies and report them for resolution.
- Collaboration: Work effectively within a team and independently, coordinating with colleagues and administrative staff to maintain workflow efficiency.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in Medical Coding.
- Current residence in Rawalpindi or Islamabad is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and official ICD-10/CPT coding guidelines.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills to accurately review complex medical records.
- Good verbal and written communication skills to facilitate effective teamwork.
