SKMCH&RC, Karachi is seeking a skilled Medical Gas Technician to join its Engineering and Maintenance department. The selected candidate will be responsible for inspecting medical gas supply systems and associated equipment to identify necessary repairs and recommend preventive maintenance measures. Ensuring the timely and adequate supply of oxygen cylinders according to hospital requirements will also be a critical part of the role. This position demands a hands-on approach to maintaining the safety and functionality of medical gas and compressed air distribution systems within the facility.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect medical gas supply systems and related equipment to detect faults and assess repair needs.
- Recommend and implement preventive maintenance plans to ensure continuous and safe operation of medical gas systems.
- Manage the timely supply and distribution of oxygen cylinders in accordance with hospital demand.
- Perform hands-on operation and maintenance of medical gases and compressed air distribution systems, including their components.
- Diagnose system faults promptly and carry out remedial actions to minimize downtime and ensure patient safety.

Required Qualifications
- Middle, Matric, Diploma, or Certificate in a relevant technical field.
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) or a 2-year technical certificate in a related discipline.
- Minimum of 1 year of practical experience with a DAE qualification or 5 years of experience with a 2-year certificate in the relevant field.
- Proven experience in the operation and maintenance of medical gas and compressed air distribution systems.
- Strong ability to identify faults and execute necessary repairs efficiently.
