Aga Khan University Hospital Clinical Laboratories, the first laboratory in Pakistan accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP), is seeking a Medical Receptionist for its Collection Point in Lahore. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the efficient delivery of fast and accurate laboratory testing services, which are highly regarded both nationally and internationally. The laboratory network operates across more than 290 locations in 125 cities throughout Pakistan, providing value-added services such as mobile app access, stat reports, SMS alerts, home sample collection, electronic reports, and real-time critical result notifications. The organization is dedicated to maintaining a diverse and inclusive workplace while fostering respectful relationships among patients, staff, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately check and process laboratory tests prescribed by physicians.
- Inform patients about laboratory tests and procedures to ensure proper specimen collection.
- Deliver laboratory test reports to patients or authorized individuals after verifying all relevant details.
- Manage cash and credit transactions, maintaining daily records of any excess or shortage in line with laboratory policies.
- Confirm test requirements with patients and provide clear verbal or written instructions to facilitate correct specimen collection.
- Handle telephonic and face-to-face inquiries related to laboratory tests and schedule appointments for specialized tests.
- Perform dual duties as a Phlebotomist at collection points when required.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
- At least two years of relevant work experience, including a minimum of one year as a Phlebotomist.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Proficiency in computer applications and basic software usage.
- Adequate knowledge of laboratory tests and procedures.
- Willingness and flexibility to work in shifts according to operational needs.
