Aga Khan University Hospital is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join its Phlebotomy Centre in Multan, South Punjab. The Clinical Laboratories at Aga Khan University Hospital are the first in Pakistan to receive accreditation from the College of American Pathologists (CAP), recognized globally as the gold standard in laboratory testing. As part of one of the largest CAP-accredited lab networks worldwide, the team delivers fast and accurate results for both routine and specialized tests. The laboratory network operates across more than 290 locations in 125 cities throughout Pakistan, offering value-added services such as a mobile app, stat reports, SMS alerts, home sample collection, e-reports, real-time critical result reporting, and multi-column reports. Key Responsibilities:
- Check and process laboratory test requests prescribed by doctors accurately.
- Inform and guide patients about laboratory tests and procedures to ensure proper specimen collection according to test requirements.
- Deliver laboratory test reports to the concerned individuals after verifying all necessary details.
- Manage cash and credit transactions, maintaining daily records of any cash excess or shortage in line with laboratory policies.
- Confirm test requirements with patients and provide clear verbal or written instructions for specimen collection.
- Handle telephonic and in-person inquiries related to laboratory tests and schedule appointments for special tests.
- Perform phlebotomy duties at collection points as needed, supporting the team in specimen collection.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of two years of relevant work experience, including at least one year as a Phlebotomist.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Proficiency in computer use and basic applications for managing records and reports.
- Adequate knowledge of laboratory tests and specimen collection procedures.
- Flexibility to work in shifts as per operational requirements.
