The Aga Khan University Hospital Clinical Laboratories, recognized as the first in Pakistan to receive accreditation from the College of American Pathologists (CAP), is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join its Phlebotomy Centre in Multan, South Punjab. As part of one of the largest CAP-accredited laboratory networks globally, the role offers an opportunity to work with a highly qualified team dedicated to delivering accurate and timely laboratory results. The network operates across more than 290 locations in 125 cities throughout Pakistan, providing advanced services such as mobile app access, stat reports, SMS alerts, home sample collection, e-reports, and real-time critical result notifications. Key Responsibilities:
- Check and process laboratory test requests prescribed by doctors accurately.
- Inform and guide patients about laboratory tests and specimen collection procedures to ensure compliance with test requirements.
- Deliver laboratory test reports to the appropriate individuals after verifying all necessary details.
- Manage cash and credit transactions, maintaining daily records of any cash discrepancies in accordance with laboratory policies.
- Confirm test requirements with patients and provide clear verbal or written instructions for specimen collection.
- Handle telephonic and in-person inquiries related to laboratory tests and schedule appointments for specialized testing.
- Perform phlebotomy duties at collection points as needed, supporting the team in specimen collection.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of two years of relevant work experience, including at least one year as a Phlebotomist.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Proficiency in computer use and basic software applications.
- Adequate knowledge of laboratory tests and procedures to provide accurate information and support.
- Flexibility to work in shifts as per operational requirements.
