Senior Front End Developer

The Front-End Developer implements visual elements that users see and interact within a web application. Responsible for building a resilient and intuitive web application for a non-technical audience. The Front-End Developer needs to ensure the alignment of web design and user experience requirements while optimizing web pages for maximum efficiency and performance. The Front-End Developer works alongside Back End Developers, Graphic Designers, and User Experience Designers to ensure all elements of web creation are consistent.

What you’ll do in this role:

• Work on our in house Product (MedSlick) catering to the Healthcare B2B community
• Determining the structure and design of web pages
• Ensuring user experience determines design choices
• Developing features to enhance the user experience
• Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design
• Ensuring web design is optimized for smartphones
• Building reusable code for future use
• Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability
• Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages
• Maintaining brand consistency throughout design
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Use a variety of programming languages in order to create user friendly web pages
• Work in multidisciplinary teams with other professionals such as Back-End developers and web designers
• Make suggestions for better solutions to problems
• Following the latest and emerging technologies

What you’ll bring to this role (Technical Skills): Senior Architect and Developer (Leader)

• 5+ years developing rich UI for web applications
• Strong knowledge of React JS, View JS, Redux, React Hooks, TypeScript, Less, CSS3, and HTML5
• Strong knowledge of modern front-end technologies - JS Frameworks, Webpack, etc.
• Experience with consuming APIs for data and 3rd party integrations.
• Experience with writing unit tests for React using Jest and Enzyme
• Experience with avoiding common security pitfalls and XSS exploits
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Great time management skills
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud, Google Firebase, or Microsoft Azure
• Proficiency with Source Control System GitHub/ Gitlab / Bit bucket etc.
• Knowledge (conceptual & practical) of working on high traffic & responsive websites.
• Experience with React Native a plus

Other responsibilities include:

• Understanding project requirements with minimal assistance
• Research new technologies, new solutions
• Execute development activities assigned to them
• Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept systems to validate potential solutions
• Work with team members to ensure that projects are delivered on time and meet expectations
• Research, recommend and apply new technologies if applicable
• Documenting, and building server-side applications
• Ensuring that development happens according to established processes of code quality
• Participating in all phases of software development including design, development, testing, and support
• Managing existing databases to ensure proper functionality and optimization
