Accounts / Taxation Officer

We are seeking an Assistant Accounts / Taxation Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the management of financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of taxation laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare tax returns data for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities
Prepare financial statements and other relevant documents to ensure accurate tax reporting
Prepare Sales tax returns monthly data and filling of returns.
Prepare data of other annually,quarterly returns data
Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations
Assist with audits and other tax-related investigations
Maintain accurate and complete tax records

Requirements:

A degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Knowledge of taxation laws and regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions is an advantage
