We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced civil engineer to join our construction team. As a civil engineer specializing in construction, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of construction projects, from initial planning and design to execution and completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in civil engineering, excellent project management skills, and a proven track record of delivering successful construction projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all phases of construction projects, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout.
- Conduct site investigations and surveys to assess project feasibility and identify potential challenges or constraints.
- Prepare project plans, specifications, and cost estimates in accordance with client requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to develop and implement construction plans and schedules.
- Review and approve construction drawings, documents, and submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor construction progress and performance to identify deviations from plans and take corrective actions as needed.
- Manage project budgets, expenses, and resources to ensure projects are completed within budget constraints.
- Conduct quality control inspections and tests to verify compliance with construction standards and specifications.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and change orders.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on construction sites.
