- Talking to computer users to determine the nature of the problems they are encountering.
- Diagnosing the source of users’ IT problems.
- Advising computer users on possible solutions.
- Carrying out a repair or helping customers do this for themselves.
- Escalating complex problems and making users aware of the impact of this.
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades.
- Setting up accounts for new staff and ensuring that they know how to log in.
- Logging and processing support calls.
- Checking IT equipment for electrical safety.
- Maintaining records of software licenses.
- Managing stocks of equipment, components, consumables, and other supplies.
- Escalate problems and requests according to established procedures.
- Maintain accountability and ownership of incident/request tickets.
- Co-ordination with Menzies Central, Cyber Security and Enterprise teams for identification and rectification of queries and system updates.
- Generating reports of network and systems.
- Processing the joiners and leavers of the organization and their requirements from applications and systems perspective.
- L1 and L2 support for all desktop and laptop users.
- Create, Update, and maintain all IT asset inventory documentation.
- Creating IT related training material and providing them to required users.
- Create visually appealing Dashboards & Presentations
