This role provides hands-on experience supporting Ground Support Equipment (GSE) operations in the aviation industry. The position involves assisting with technical troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, performing inspections, and supporting system upgrades and modifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical GSE systems.
- Support preventive maintenance activities and inspections under supervision.
- Respond to internal and external support queries regarding GSE functionality and performance.
- Document technical problems, resolutions, service reports, and maintenance logs.
- Help maintain an accurate inventory of tools, spare parts, and technical manuals.
- Participate in system upgrades, retrofits, and equipment modifications.
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers and follow up on corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and operational standards during all activities
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Aerospace, Avionics, Mechanical, Electrical, and Mechatronics Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of the aviation industry.
- Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and manuals is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and eagerness to learn technical troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work in hands-on, equipment-based environments.
- Attention to safety and detail in all assigned tasks.
