Merchandising Assistant

Spreetail is a rapidly growing ecommerce company dedicated to helping brands expand their market share globally while optimizing operational costs. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Assistant Merchant to support our merchandising operations. In this role, you will collaborate closely with merchants and cross-functional teams to manage daily priorities, assist with key deliverables, and address potential challenges before they escalate. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, analytical, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and operational support to the merchandising team, including calendar management, meeting coordination, note-taking, and tracking follow-ups.
- Develop and maintain internal communications and presentations to ensure clear dissemination of updates, priorities, and action items.
- Utilize merchandising systems and tools to complete daily tasks, maintain accurate data, and proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
- Collaborate with merchants and cross-functional support teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of deliverables.
- Manage ad hoc and time-sensitive requests by prioritizing tasks according to business needs and ensuring prompt execution.

Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with strong skills in VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Experience in merchandising, retail, ecommerce, or a similar fast-paced environment, with familiarity in retail item data, shipment tracking, or basic accounting practices.
- Ability to maintain focus on goals, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and consistently deliver accurate, high-quality work within deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and learning agility, with the ability to collaborate effectively, adapt to changing priorities, and quickly master new systems and processes.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
This is a remote position requiring candidates to have a suitable work-from-home setup. The technical requirements include:
- A desktop or laptop with at least a 4th generation Intel i3 processor or equivalent, 4GB RAM or more.
- Operating system: Windows 10 or higher, or macOS.
- Dual monitors provided by the candidate.
- A stable wired internet connection with a minimum speed of 10 Mbps (DSL, cable, or fiber).
- A PC headset and a high-definition external or integrated webcam with at least 720p resolution.
