MERN Developer

We are seeking a skilled MERN Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack development expertise, particularly with MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. Experience with AI integration is highly desirable and will be considered an advantage. This role requires a proactive developer who can build responsive user interfaces, efficient backend services, and robust APIs while ensuring security and optimal application performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain web applications using the MERN stack: MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
- Create responsive, user-friendly interfaces alongside efficient backend services to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs to support front-end functionality and third-party services.
- Manage database design, optimize queries, and monitor application performance to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms while adhering to secure coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, optimize existing codebases, and maintain high code quality through best practices.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop new features and deliver dependable solutions.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed to enhance application capabilities.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience working with the MERN stack.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, with familiarity in TypeScript considered a plus.
- Hands-on experience with React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB in a production environment.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design, database management, and application architecture principles.
- Experience using Git for version control, along with debugging and deployment processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to write clean, maintainable code.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience integrating AI APIs such as OpenAI or Gemini to enhance application functionality.
- Familiarity with large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, or AI-powered application development.
- Exposure to Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, or AI agents is advantageous.
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker, cloud platforms, or continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus.
