Metavystic, a prominent leader in geospatial software services, is looking for a skilled MERN Stack/Full Stack Developer to join their onsite team in Islamabad/Rawalpindi. This position suits a motivated professional with at least one year of experience in full stack development who is eager to work on innovative projects that advance geospatial technology. The role involves both front-end and back-end development, with responsibilities spanning the design, implementation, and optimization of software solutions from inception to deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using Node.js and React.js frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with design and product teams to implement new features and enhance existing functionalities.
- Manage code versioning with GIT, ensuring adherence to best practices and high code quality.
- Utilize React libraries such as Redux, Material-UI, and Chart.js to create rich, interactive user interfaces.
- Work with RESTful APIs and implement modern authorization mechanisms, including JSON Web Tokens (JWT).
- Apply front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and SASS to build responsive and visually appealing designs.
- Handle back-end development and database management using PostgreSQL.
- Deploy and maintain applications on Linux-based servers, ensuring stability and performance.
- Integrate API Gateways and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1+ years of professional experience in MERN stack or full stack development.
- Proficiency in Node.js, React.js, Express.js, and PostgreSQL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly GIT.
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and security protocols such as JWT.
- Solid understanding of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and SASS.
- Experience deploying applications on Linux servers and managing CI/CD pipelines.
