Red Star Technologies is seeking a motivated MERN Stack Developer with hands-on experience in building and shipping real features. The ideal candidate will take ownership of developing and maintaining end-to-end web applications, collaborating closely with designers, QA, and project management teams in a dynamic software environment. Key Responsibilities
- Develop new features across the full MERN stack, including MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.
- Create and integrate RESTful APIs, including third-party services.
- Convert Figma designs into clean, responsive React user interfaces.
- Design efficient MongoDB schemas and write optimized database queries.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs reported by QA and end-users, tracking issues across frontend and backend systems.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.
- Participate actively in code reviews, daily standups, and sprint planning sessions.
- Support application deployments and ensure smooth operation of existing systems.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree completed (mandatory), preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 1.5 years of practical experience working with the MERN stack.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), including async/await and promises.
- Solid experience with React, including hooks, state management, and component architecture.
- Experience developing backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
- Working knowledge of MongoDB and Mongoose for schema design and querying.
- Experience building and testing REST APIs using tools like Postman or similar.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub workflows, including branching and pull requests.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts as needed.
- Ability to work onsite at the company’s location in G-13/4, Islamabad.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with Redux or Context API for state management.
- Knowledge of TypeScript.
- Basic understanding of deployment processes using Docker, AWS, Vercel, or similar platforms.
- Experience working within Agile or Scrum development teams.
