We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Junior MERN Stack Developer to join our team onsite. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, Node.js, and MongoDB, with hands-on experience working on e-commerce APIs such as eBay, Amazon, and Shopify. A strong understanding of clean architecture, modular code structuring, and performance optimization is essential. Familiarity with Tailwind CSS, ShadCN UI, and basic DevOps concepts like CI/CD, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) is a plus. We value problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and the ability to write scalable, maintainable code over superficial coding approaches.

Key Responsibilities

- Backend Development (Node.js + Express): Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for e-commerce integrations including eBay and Amazon. Handle webhooks, OAuth, and third-party API integrations. Optimize MongoDB queries to ensure efficient data flow. Implement caching strategies, rate limiting, and enforce API security best practices.

- Frontend Development (React.js + TypeScript): Build responsive, high-performance user interfaces using React.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. Utilize ShadCN UI for consistent and accessible component design. Manage state using tools like Zustand or Redux and optimize frontend performance. Ensure smooth client-side data fetching with React Query, Axios, or SWR.

- DevOps & Deployment: Assist in setting up CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins. Work with Docker for containerization and support basic cloud deployments on AWS or GCP. Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues as they arise.

- Problem Solving & Team Collaboration: Debug and optimize existing codebases focusing on scalability and maintainability. Participate actively in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning sessions. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and QA engineers.

Required Qualifications

- MERN Stack Proficiency: Strong skills in MongoDB (schema design, aggregation pipelines), Express.js (middleware, error handling, API structuring), React.js (functional components, hooks, custom hooks), and Node.js (asynchronous programming, file streams, worker threads).

- TypeScript: Solid understanding of strong typing, generics, and interfaces.

- UI Development: Experience with Tailwind CSS and ShadCN UI for component-driven UI development.

- E-Commerce API Experience: Practical knowledge of integrating with platforms such as eBay, Amazon, Shopify, Stripe, and PayPal.

- Problem-Solving: Ability to decompose complex logic into clean, maintainable code.

- Version Control & Agile: Familiarity with Git workflows including pull requests and branching, alongside Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- DevOps Basics: Experience with Docker, AWS services (EC2, S3), and CI/CD pipelines.

- Testing: Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library.
