- Review financing agreements and project documents, ensuring relevant compliance and providing input as required
- Attend Board of Directors meetings and assist Financial Controller in preparation for BOD meeting, ensuring all reports, forecasts/budgets and summaries are prepared and BOD queries are answered
- Oversee taxation operations, ensuring on-time submission of replies for any tax notices
- Execute effective treasury management through strict monitoring of cash flows, coordinating with CPPA-G and contractors
- Execute effective investment management in mutual funds as advised by Management, coordinating on investment, redemption, pledge & de-pledge requirements with lenders and investment companies
- Prepare & review various quarterly, semi-annual & annual reports and documents required by lenders, shareholders and Board of Directors such as operating reports, stock reports, compliance certificates & MIS reports
- Prepare quarterly & semi-annual indexation calculations for submission to NEPRA, following up with relevant parties
- Prepare all kinds of invoices such as Energy, Delay Payment, Differential, Pass Through & Bonus Invoices as per Energy Purchase Agreement, submitting invoices on ERP Portal of CPPA-G and relevant follow ups
- Coordinate and meet with CPPA-G Technical and finance team and NPCC in Islamabad for resolution of invoicing and NPMV issues
- Coordinate with insurance brokers & companies, ensuring proper insurance arrangements (project, life, health & asset insurance) are in place in a timely manner and other contractual requirements are met
- Liaise and coordinate with external parties and internal departments including financial consultants, external auditors, banks, legal and engineering teams as required
- Instruct departmental sub-ordinates and assist CFO, ensuring holistic compliance of departmental processes and functions and written process functions and procedures are compiled for department operations
- Any other task assigned by Financial Controller
