Back ground:

MicroMerger work with multiple Government, International and National clients and implement and help them for successful completion of desired tasks. MicroMerger work primarily on development sector and most of the time require the conduct different and events and activities as per the provided work plan. MicroMerger project staff work closely with client to successfully complete these assignments as per the approved workplan and within approved budget.

Job Description:

A Project Officer provides essential support to a project, working with the Project Manager and other team members to achieve project success. Exact responsibilities will vary by project and activity currently under consideration, but key component of a Project Officers’ roles include administrative and technological skills to successful implementation and completion of that workplan.

To accomplish primary goal of providing administrative and technical skills to support a project to success, Project Officers perform many duties which may include:

Organize Project Meetings:

On a regular basis, Project Officers meet with the Project Manager to review progress and to discuss future steps. The Project Officer make arrangements and provide logistic support to organize project meetings/sessions. They organize appropriate meeting rooms and any refreshments, contact the attendees and note any who can’t attend. Before the meeting, they send out any relevant information, and they attend each meeting to take minutes.

Maintain Documents

Project Officers are responsible for maintaining crucial project documents. They file all project documents in an appropriate database and prepare essential documents required by other team members or departments, and ensure that all documents are accurate and have been accepted by the Project Manager.

Identify Problems or Risks

Being so closely involved in the project, the Project Officer is relied upon to identify any potential issues or risks that could affect the progression of the project. They communicate these items with the Project Manager or project stack holders in time, and work to identify potential solutions.


  • Excellent management and computer skills, including intermediate to advanced level Excel skills
  • Ability to work independently and to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with external parties as well as all levels of management
  • Comfortable with travel over 70% of the work time in mostly remote areas.
  • Professional demeanor with aptitude to understand and ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety situation where only limited standardization exists and effectively communicate findings in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to work precisely with data and ensure that work meets quality standards

Qualification and Experience

  • A Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Accounting / Economics / Commerce
  • 1-2 Years of similar experience
  • Duty Station will be Islamabad and Peshawar as per need basis
