Cloud Fusion Global is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer for a remote contract role. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 4+ years of hands-on experience in developing, customizing, integrating, and supporting enterprise solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform ecosystem. This position requires availability to work during US time zones and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, customize, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions tailored to business needs. Configure and customize Dynamics 365 and Dataverse entities, forms, views, dashboards, business rules, and security roles. Develop plugins, custom workflow activities, and business logic using C# and .NET. Implement client-side customizations with JavaScript, TypeScript, and the Dynamics 365 Client API. Build Power Apps, including both Model-Driven and Canvas Apps, as required. Automate business processes using Power Automate and Dynamics 365 workflows.
Develop integrations between Dynamics 365 and external systems using Dataverse Web API, REST APIs, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and other integration tools. Work extensively with Microsoft Dataverse for data modeling, security, auditing, and business logic implementation. Create custom components using the Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) when necessary. Manage Dynamics 365 solutions, environment variables, connection references, and solution deployments.
Support data migration and integration efforts using Microsoft tools, APIs, and ETL methodologies. Troubleshoot application performance, integration, security, and deployment issues. Participate in requirements gathering and translate functional needs into scalable technical solutions. Collaborate closely with functional consultants, solution architects, QA engineers, and fellow developers. Maintain thorough technical documentation and adhere to Microsoft development and security best practices.
Required Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) modules. Proficiency in Microsoft Dataverse, Power Apps (Model-Driven and Canvas), and Power Automate. Skilled in C# and .NET development, including Dynamics 365 plugins and custom workflow activities. Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Dynamics 365 Client API.
Experience working with Dataverse Web API, REST APIs, FetchXML, and QueryExpression. Knowledge of Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) development. Understanding of Dynamics 365 security roles, teams, business units, and field-level security. Familiarity with business process flows, business rules, and solution management/deployment. Experience integrating with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and third-party APIs. Competence using Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines related to Dynamics 365 and Power Platform ALM concepts.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with Power Platform CLI, Solution Packager, deployment pipelines, custom connectors, Azure Service Bus, Application Insights, and Microsoft Entra ID/App Registrations is advantageous. Relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform certifications are highly preferred.
