Microsoft Dynamics Techno - Functional Consultant

XPERT ACCOUNTECH SERVICES (XATS) PVT LTD, located in Bahria Town Phase 8, Rawalpindi/Islamabad, Pakistan, is a back-office shared services company established by a Saudi-based multinational group. The company specializes in providing tailored finance, accounting, ERP, IT, data analytics, consulting, and other back-office support exclusively for its parent group. We are currently looking for a highly skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Techno-Functional Consultant (Finance & Operations) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and implementing scalable Dynamics 365 solutions. This role requires a balanced mix of functional expertise and technical proficiency to analyze business requirements, recommend best-fit solutions, and deliver end-to-end implementations across Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document both functional and technical requirements.
- Design, configure, customize, and implement Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions that align with business objectives.
- Translate business needs into functional designs, technical specifications, and system configurations.
- Develop and support customizations, extensions, workflows, reports, dashboards, and integrations within Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Configure and optimize core modules including Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Inventory, and related business processes.
- Manage data migration activities using the Data Management Framework (DMF) and support system integrations through APIs and Azure services.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure successful delivery of custom solutions and integrations.
- Deploy and manage solutions using Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Conduct system testing, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and facilitate end-user training sessions.
- Troubleshoot functional and technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend effective solutions.
- Prepare comprehensive functional and technical documentation, process flows, user guides, and training materials.
- Ensure all solutions comply with Microsoft best practices, security standards, and governance guidelines.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Technical and Functional implementations, specifically in Finance & Operations.
- Strong understanding of business processes and ERP best practices across Finance and Supply Chain domains.
- Proven experience in Dynamics 365 F&O configuration, setup, customization, and ongoing support.
- Proficiency in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, X++, C#, .NET, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), Azure services and integrations.
- Experience with SSRS reporting, SQL Server, Lifecycle Services (LCS), Azure DevOps, and CI/CD deployment processes.
- Skilled in data migration, system integrations, and API-based solutions.
- Knowledge of Power BI, including dashboards, data modeling, Power Query, and DAX is preferred.
- Strong understanding of D365 F&O data architecture, extension model, and security framework.
- Experience managing full project lifecycle implementations, upgrades, support, and rollouts.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Agile project delivery methodologies and stakeholder management.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications in Finance, Supply Chain Management, or Solution Architect roles are highly desirable.
- Experience in a Techno-Functional role that combines business process consulting with technical solution delivery.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Additional experience with Power BI, Power Platform, and Azure integration services will be considered an advantage.
