Microsoft Power Platform Architect

Vurke is building a global technology-delivery network that supports Microsoft partners, systems integrators, consulting firms, and enterprise clients by providing scalable implementation capacity for projects on demand. Unlike traditional recruitment agencies, Vurke’s specialists embed directly into delivery teams on international client engagements. The company focuses on creating a pre-vetted talent pool with expertise in Microsoft AI, Copilot, Power Platform, Azure AI, data, and integration to support projects across North America, the UK, and Europe.

Key Responsibilities
- Architect enterprise solutions leveraging Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages, and Copilot Studio.
- Define environment strategies, solution boundaries, data models, security roles, integration patterns, and application lifecycle management (ALM).
- Design governance frameworks including data loss prevention (DLP) policies, connector strategies, environment management, Center of Excellence practices, and platform guardrails.
- Assess when to apply low-code versus pro-code extensions such as plugins, PCF controls, Azure Functions, and custom APIs.
- Provide guidance on performance, scalability, maintainability, licensing implications, and operational support.
- Design integrations with Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, Azure services, and external enterprise platforms.
- Support Copilot Studio and AI-enabled Power Platform architecture, including agents, actions, AI prompts, and governance.
- Produce architecture diagrams, solution design documents, and technical standards.
- Lead technical reviews, design authorities, and troubleshooting for complex implementations.
- Mentor developers and functional consultants while supporting client architecture discussions.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Microsoft business applications or software delivery.
- At least 4 years of hands-on Power Platform implementation experience.
- Deep expertise in Dataverse, model-driven apps, canvas apps, Power Automate, security, and solution management.
- Strong experience with Power Platform ALM and environment/governance strategies.
- Proven ability to design enterprise integrations and pro-code extensions.
- Comprehensive understanding of licensing, security, performance, and platform limitations.
- Excellent client-facing communication skills and proficiency in architecture documentation.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with Copilot Studio and AI-enabled Power Platform implementations.
- Familiarity with Azure integration, API Management, Azure Functions, or Logic Apps.
- Current Microsoft certifications such as AB-100, AB-400, or AB-410 are highly valued. Legacy certifications like PL-600, PL-400, and PL-200 are also welcomed if supported by recent delivery experience.
- Experience establishing Power Platform Centers of Excellence is advantageous.

Candidates will be evaluated based on their direct delivery experience, technical depth in core Microsoft technologies, ability to clearly articulate architectural decisions and trade-offs, client-facing English communication skills, and capacity to work independently within distributed teams. Reasonable rate expectations and availability to overlap with North American, UK, or European client hours are essential.

This is a fully remote, contract/project-based role with varying project durations depending on client needs. Candidates may be located globally but must be able to work within required client time zones. The selection process may include client interviews and technical assessments.
