Midwife (Female)

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Female Midwife to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive maternal care and support to women during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and the postnatal period. This role requires a responsible professional committed to ensuring the health and well-being of both mothers and newborns through attentive care and education.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide antenatal and postnatal care to mothers, ensuring their health and comfort throughout the process.
- Assist with normal deliveries while closely monitoring the condition of both mother and newborn.
- Educate mothers on breastfeeding techniques, newborn care, nutrition, and overall maternal health.
- Identify any complications during pregnancy or delivery and arrange timely referrals to appropriate healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including delivery documentation.
- Adhere strictly to infection prevention, hygiene, and patient safety protocols to maintain a safe care environment.
- Offer family planning counseling and reproductive health education to support informed decision-making.
- Collaborate effectively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.

Required Qualifications
- Relevant midwifery qualification or diploma from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration or license to practice midwifery, where applicable.
- Female candidates only.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact empathetically with patients and healthcare teams.
- A compassionate attitude with a strong commitment to patient safety and quality care.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience in maternal and newborn care is preferred but not mandatory.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs100,000 to Rs150,000.
