Graduate Trainee Business Development

Mirari Furnitures, a reputed furniture manufacturing company in Islamabad specializing in premium residential, institutional, and customized furniture, is seeking dynamic and motivated individuals for the role of Graduate Trainee Business Development. This entry-level position is ideal for fresh graduates or individuals with minimal experience who aspire to build a career in business development within the furniture and design industry. The role provides comprehensive on-the-job training to develop knowledge of furniture products, manufacturing processes, customer engagement, and commercial proposal handling essential for driving business growth. The Graduate Trainee will work closely with various teams across the company to understand client requirements, interact with architects and interior designers, conduct market research, and assist in business development activities. The trainees will be guided through successive stages of professional growth, from Junior Business Development Associate up to Business Development Manager. Although no prior team management is expected, this is a critical development role requiring strong communication, commercial awareness, and initiative to effectively contribute to Mirari Furnitures' expansion plans.
Responsibilities

Participate in structured on-the-job training covering furniture products, manufacturing techniques, and materials including wood, veneers, upholstery, and finishing.
Learn how to interpret furniture drawings, dimensions, and specifications to better understand client needs and project requirements.
Identify and analyze customer requirements to support the creation of accurate quotations and commercial proposals.
Assist in building and maintaining professional relationships with architects, interior designers, and clients through effective communication and presentation skills.
Conduct market and project research to identify new business opportunities and key prospects in the furniture sector.
Attend client meetings and presentations to gain exposure to customer interactions and business development best practices.
Support follow-up activities with prospective and existing clients to nurture sales pipelines and enhance customer satisfaction.
Maintain discipline in documentation, reporting, and administration related to business development activities and client interactions.
Undertake client visits and field activities to deepen understanding of client environments and preferences, particularly for candidates with design and architecture background.
Collaborate with the business development team to prepare reports and updates on market trends, project status, and pipeline progress.
Demonstrate initiative and willingness to learn continuously to evolve into a Junior Business Development Associate and progress within the company.
