MIS & Analytics Executive (AVP) - TJ / 1913670

National Bank of Pakistan, one of the largest and most prominent financial institutions in the country, is seeking a skilled MIS & Analytics Executive (AVP) to join the President’s Secretariat team in Karachi. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and oversee a centralized MIS framework for the President Secretariat to ensure timely and accurate management reporting.
- Consolidate data and management information from various departments, business functions, and groups for comprehensive analysis.
- Prepare periodic and on-demand MIS reports, executive summaries, dashboards, and analytical reports tailored for the President and senior management.
- Establish and standardize reporting formats, templates, and data definitions to maintain consistency and completeness.
- Analyze financial, operational, and performance data to identify trends, gaps, exceptions, and emerging issues that require management attention.
- Convert raw data into actionable insights and executive intelligence through analytical models and dashboards to support decision-making.
- Conduct comparative, trend, and exception analyses as requested by the President.
- Design high-quality presentations, dashboards, and briefing materials for executive and Board-level meetings, ensuring clarity and visual coherence.
- Translate complex datasets into clear visualizations, charts, graphs, and concise narratives aligned with executive reporting standards.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum graduation or equivalent degree from a university or institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in MIS, management reporting, data analysis, business intelligence, or related functions.
- Proven hands-on experience in preparing and analyzing Excel-based reports, dashboards, and management information. Ability to convert data into clear summaries, charts, and actionable insights is essential.
- Proficiency in advanced MS Excel functions such as PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, data cleaning, conditional formatting, and report formatting.
- Strong skills in PowerPoint for creating executive-level presentations and data visualizations.
- Experience with Power BI or equivalent Business Intelligence tools for dashboard development and data visualization.
- Familiarity with MIS/reporting systems, data management, data interpretation, trend analysis, and performance analytics.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills:
- Master’s degree or any other professional qualification in a relevant field will be an advantage.
- Experience working in a banking, financial institution, or large corporate environment, especially in preparing C-suite or Board-level presentations and executive dashboards.
- Knowledge of SQL, VBA, Python, or other reporting and automation tools is considered a plus.

Employment Details:
This position is based in Karachi and will be offered on a contractual basis for three years, with the possibility of renewal at the discretion of management. The compensation package and benefits will be provided in accordance with the Bank’s policies and rules.
