MIS Reporting Analyst – Outsourcing Unit

AshreiTech is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical MIS Reporting Analyst to join its Outsourcing Unit at the Karachi location. The role is based on-site at NASTP and requires working the night shift from 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM. The successful candidate will be responsible for consolidating financial data, preparing comprehensive management reports, analyzing business performance, and developing dashboards that aid budgeting, cost monitoring, and strategic decision-making. This position demands 2 to 4 years of relevant experience and offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from PKR 70,000 to 100,000.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, validate, and consolidate financial data related to revenue, expenses, payments, account balances, and budget utilization to ensure accurate reporting.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic MIS reports covering financial performance, operational costs, and budget status.
- Analyze actual financial results against budgets and forecasts, identifying significant variances and highlighting areas requiring management attention.
- Conduct trend and variance analysis to examine spending patterns, cost trends, financial fluctuations, and unusual data points, identifying potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards to track financial performance, expenses, budget utilization, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Enhance reporting efficiency by automating processes using Excel formulas, PivotTables, lookup functions, Power Query, and other relevant tools.
- Utilize Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms to visualize data and deliver meaningful insights to management.
- Present key findings, trends, and performance indicators in clear, concise reports to support informed business decisions.
- Verify data integrity, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reports.
- Maintain organized documentation including spreadsheets, reporting templates, dashboards, and supporting financial records.
- Identify opportunities to standardize reporting formats, reduce manual work, and improve the timeliness and quality of MIS reporting.
- Manage deadlines effectively to ensure recurring reports and management updates are delivered accurately and on time.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in MIS reporting, data analysis, business reporting, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, PivotTables, lookup functions, and data analysis techniques.
- Experience in developing KPI dashboards and management reports using Power BI or comparable business intelligence tools.
- Solid understanding of financial and operational performance reporting, budgeting, expense tracking, and variance analysis.
- Ability to interpret large datasets, identify trends, investigate discrepancies, and communicate findings effectively.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage recurring reporting deadlines.
- Capability to present complex information clearly, structured, and in actionable formats.
