MIS Reporting Analyst – Outsourcing Unit

AshreiTech is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical MIS Reporting Analyst to join the Outsourcing Unit at its Karachi office. This on-site role operates during the night shift from 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM. The successful candidate will be responsible for consolidating financial data, preparing management reports, analyzing business performance, and developing dashboards that aid budgeting, cost monitoring, and strategic decision-making. With 2 to 4 years of relevant experience, the ideal candidate will have advanced Microsoft Excel skills and be adept at transforming complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights. This position focuses on enhancing reporting accuracy, streamlining processes, and providing management with transparent visibility into financial performance and key business metrics. The monthly salary range is PKR 70,000 to 100,000.

Key Responsibilities

- Financial Data Consolidation: Collect, validate, and consolidate financial data related to revenue, expenses, payments, account balances, and budget utilization.
- MIS Report Preparation: Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic reports covering financial performance, operational costs, and budget status.
- Financial Performance Analysis: Compare actual financial results against budgets and forecasts, identify significant variances, and highlight areas requiring attention.
- Trend & Variance Analysis: Analyze spending patterns, cost trends, financial fluctuations, and unusual data points to identify potential risks and improvement opportunities.
- Dashboard Development: Create and maintain interactive dashboards to track financial performance, expenses, budget utilization, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Reporting Automation: Enhance reporting efficiency using Excel formulas, PivotTables, lookup functions, Power Query, and other automation tools.
- Business Intelligence Tools: Utilize Power BI or similar platforms to visualize data and provide meaningful insights for management.
- Management Reporting: Present key findings, trends, and performance indicators in clear, concise reports to support informed business decisions.
- Data Validation & Accuracy: Verify data integrity, investigate discrepancies, and ensure reports are accurate, consistent, and reliable.
- Documentation & Record Management: Maintain organized spreadsheets, reporting templates, dashboards, and supporting financial documentation.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to standardize reporting formats, reduce manual work, and improve the timeliness and quality of MIS reporting.
- Deadline Management: Ensure recurring reports and management updates are delivered accurately and within established timelines.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in MIS reporting, data analysis, business reporting, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, PivotTables, lookup functions, and data analysis techniques.
- Experience developing KPI dashboards and management reports using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
- Solid understanding of financial and operational performance reporting, budgeting, expense tracking, and variance analysis.
- Ability to interpret large datasets, identify trends, investigate discrepancies, and communicate findings effectively.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage recurring reporting deadlines.
- Ability to present complex information in clear, structured, and actionable reports.
