Mobile App Developer (Flutter) – Remote

BrightBench Labs is an early-stage mobile app studio focused on creating subscription-based applications for both iOS and Android platforms. As one of the first team members, you will play a crucial role in taking our apps from concept to launch, working closely with the founder in a collaborative and dynamic remote environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter, managing the entire lifecycle from initial screen design to final release.
- Set up and maintain backend services such as authentication, database, storage, and cloud functions, primarily using Firebase or similar platforms.
- Integrate in-app subscriptions and paywalls through RevenueCat to support our subscription model.
- Implement analytics and crash reporting tools to monitor user engagement and app performance.
- Handle app publishing and maintenance on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, including managing builds, store listings, and responding to review feedback.
- Establish and manage build pipelines, for example using Codemagic, and maintain all source code within the company’s GitHub repository.
- Address bugs and deliver updates based on user feedback and data insights.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of hands-on experience in mobile app development.
- Proficiency in Flutter and Dart programming languages.
- Experience working with Firebase or comparable backend services.
- At least one published app available on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Familiarity with App Store Connect and Google Play Console for app management.
- Knowledge of in-app purchases or subscription systems, with RevenueCat experience considered a plus.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively within a remote team setting.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Understanding of app store optimization (ASO) techniques and strategies for subscription growth.
- Basic skills in UI/UX design to contribute to user-friendly app interfaces.
