Mobile App Developer (Ionic & React Native)

Carrier Global Corporation, a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, is seeking a skilled Mobile App Developer with expertise in Ionic and React Native to join their Hyderabad team. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality cross-platform mobile applications that integrate modern mobile features such as barcode scanning, maps, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and push notifications. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively within Agile teams, supporting backend integration and managing end-to-end deployment processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain mobile applications using Ionic Framework (v6/7) and React Native.
- Integrate mobile apps with REST APIs and GraphQL endpoints to ensure seamless data exchange.
- Configure and manage push notifications on both Android and iOS platforms using Firebase services.
- Implement native device features such as BLE, NFC, barcode scanning, and geolocation through Capacitor or Cordova plugins.
- Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers and backend developers to deliver features in Agile sprint cycles.
- Assist with app deployment processes to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
- Maintain code quality and version control using Git, Bitbucket, and implement CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize mobile app performance for a smooth user experience.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Ionic Framework (version 6 or 7).
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience working with React Native.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Practical experience with Firebase services, including Authentication, Firestore, and Cloud Messaging.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and basic knowledge of GraphQL.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git, package managers like npm or yarn, and mobile build tools.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:

- Experience with mobile CI/CD tools like App Center or CircleCI enhances deployment efficiency.
