Mobile App Developer

We are seeking a skilled Mobile App Developer with expertise in both iOS and Android platforms to join a dynamic team remotely. This full-time role involves designing, building, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications using native and cross-platform technologies such as Swift, Kotlin, React Native, and Flutter. You will be responsible for delivering scalable, reliable, and user-friendly mobile experiences, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA teams. The position requires working during U.S. client business hours with some flexibility for sprint planning, release cycles, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain native and cross-platform mobile applications using Swift/Objective-C for iOS, Kotlin/Java for Android, React Native, and Flutter.
- Implement responsive and accessible user interfaces based on Figma or Sketch designs.
- Integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs efficiently.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable production code.
- Create and maintain unit and UI tests using XCTest, Espresso, and Jest to ensure high automated test coverage.
- Debug and resolve crashes, performance bottlenecks, and OS compatibility issues.
- Support automated testing within CI/CD pipelines using tools like Fastlane and Bitrise.
- Manage app releases through TestFlight, Apple App Store, Google Play Console, and enterprise deployment platforms.
- Prepare release notes, versioning, and store metadata while ensuring compliance with Apple and Google Play submission guidelines.
- Monitor application performance using Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry, and New Relic, focusing on startup time, memory usage, battery efficiency, and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with designers for pixel-perfect UI implementation and backend engineers for seamless API integration.
- Participate actively in sprint planning, daily standups, and technical discussions.
- Document code, release processes, and technical workflows to support continuous improvement.
- Implement secure storage solutions using iOS Keychain and Android Keystore.
- Secure APIs with OAuth2 and JWT authentication, adhering to best practices for mobile security.
- Support compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, and other relevant standards.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in mobile application development.
- Proficient in Swift or Kotlin and experienced with React Native or Flutter frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience publishing apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Familiarity with mobile CI/CD tools such as Fastlane and Bitrise.
- Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and API integrations (REST and GraphQL).
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience implementing responsive and accessible mobile interfaces.
- Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
