The candidate will play a crucial role in transitioning our mobile applications from Xamarin to .NET MAUI, establishing robust CI/CD pipelines, and managing deployments to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. This role requires a deep understanding of mobile development frameworks and strong capabilities in managing and optimizing deployment processes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the transition of mobile applications from Xamarin to .NET MAUI.
- Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for mobile application deployments.
- Ensure reliable and scalable mobile application performance in production environments.
- Manage deployments to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, handling any app submission and review processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mobile applications with backend services.
- Design and implement enhancements and new features in line with current and future technology trends.
- Maintain documentation related to development processes, deployments, and system architectures.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members in mobile development best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mobile development, with substantial expertise in Xamarin and .NET MAUI.
- Proven experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines specifically for mobile applications.
- Experience with both iOS and Android platforms, including familiarity with their respective deployment processes.
- Strong understanding of mobile development frameworks and lifecycle.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex technical challenges.
- Effective communication skills, capable of working with distributed teams and various stakeholders.
- Previous experience with Agile development methodologies.
Desirable:
- Certifications in mobile development technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, and familiarity with using Azure DevOps for build and release management.
- Knowledge of modern containerization and orchestration technologies.
