We have recently launched Keet Mobile on iOS and Android, delivering a full peer-to-peer technology stack to users. Keet Mobile is built with a custom JavaScript runtime optimized for P2P usage, reusing 100% of Keet Desktop’s code, while its UI is developed entirely in React Native for flexibility and rapid iteration. This architecture opens vast future possibilities, and we are seeking your expertise to help us realize them.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Keet Mobile, a peer-to-peer chat and calling app for iOS and Android, built with React Native and Expo.
- Own feature development end-to-end, including UI/UX implementation and integration with P2P core APIs running on the device.
- Build and refine features across chat, voice and video calls, media sharing, device pairing, and identity backup.
- Integrate native platform capabilities such as push notifications, camera access, biometrics, and background tasks on both iOS and Android.
- Profile and optimize app performance on real devices, focusing on startup time, long chats, media handling, battery consumption, and network usage.
- Write unit and end-to-end tests, ensuring release stability through continuous integration and crash reporting.
- Collaborate closely with core P2P, design, and product teams, maintaining a high standard of code quality through thorough reviews.

Required Qualifications:
- Significant experience with React Native, Redux for state management, and Redux-Saga.
- High proficiency in JavaScript and ES6+.
- Experience working with WebSockets and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with native development languages (Swift/Kotlin) and native build tools (Xcode/Android Studio) is advantageous.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a remote team environment.
- Strong interest in modernizing and optimizing mobile or web applications.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information:
- Experience building applications on peer-to-peer frameworks is a strong plus.
