A leading media group based in Lahore is seeking a Monitoring Officer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have between six months to one year of relevant experience and hold a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Journalism, or a related field. This role involves closely tracking news coverage across various platforms including TV channels, newspapers, websites, and social media. The Monitoring Officer will be responsible for compiling and maintaining accurate media monitoring data, preparing detailed reports, and analyzing trends to support the organization’s media strategy. This position offers a monthly salary ranging from PKR 30,000 to 40,000 and requires working on-site.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor news coverage across television channels, print media, online platforms, and social media channels.
- Maintain and update media monitoring data using MS Excel.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports summarizing media coverage and trends.
- Track significant news stories, media mentions, and emerging trends relevant to the organization.
- Analyze and summarize news content to provide actionable insights.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and timely submission of reports.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Journalism, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, including sorting, filtering, and use of basic formulas.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to conduct research and analyze information effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage time efficiently.
- Good understanding of current news and media trends.
- Candidates with 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
