Motion Graphics Designer & Video Editor (Adobe After Effects)

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Motion Graphics Designer & Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing engaging video reels, animated promotional content, and branded visual materials for our corporate brand and subsidiaries. This role offers flexibility in employment type, including full-time, part-time, or contract arrangements, with the work location to be confirmed. Key Responsibilities

- Create professional social media reels and short-form videos using Adobe After Effects.
- Develop motion graphics, including animated text, transitions, logo animations, and visual effects.
- Edit and assemble videos tailored for platforms such as Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
- Transform scripts, captions, storyboards, and marketing concepts into compelling video content.
- Ensure consistent branding by adhering to colors, typography, and visual identity guidelines across all brands.
- Incorporate background music, sound effects, voiceovers, subtitles, and captions appropriately.
- Optimize videos for various social media formats, aspect ratios, and platform-specific requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to meet content calendars, deadlines, and campaign goals.
- Organize project files efficiently and provide editable After Effects project files when requested.

Required Qualifications

- Practical proficiency in Adobe After Effects with a strong grasp of motion graphics, keyframing, animation, transitions, and visual storytelling.
- Experience in creating short-form videos and social media reels.
- Solid knowledge of video composition, typography, color grading, and audio synchronization.
- Ability to follow brand guidelines and work effectively with scripts and reference videos.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, excellent time management skills, and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- A portfolio or sample work demonstrating relevant video editing and motion graphics expertise is essential.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- At least 1 year of experience with Adobe After Effects is preferred.
- Proficiency in English is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Additional Information

- The position requires in-person work, with a preference for candidates who can reliably commute to or relocate to Karachi before starting.
- Salary range is Rs60,000 to Rs80,000 per month, depending on experience and portfolio quality.
