This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute directly to the company’s financial success while nurturing a dedicated team of finance professionals. The Manager of Accounts and Finance must have at least two years of relevant experience and demonstrate strong organizational skills with an eye for detail. The candidate will collaborate closely with internal departments and external stakeholders such as auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies. This position also oversees import and export financial documentation and letter of credit transactions to facilitate smooth trade finance operations. Effective communication and decision-making skills are essential for executing financial policies and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and internal controls.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the accounts and finance team to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial data.
- Prepare, review, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts.
- Oversee and ensure compliance with banking regulations and financial laws governing company transactions.
- Manage audit processes and coordinate with external auditors to facilitate smooth audit completion.
- Handle letter of credit processing and maintain accurate documentation for import and export activities.
- Maintain comprehensive financial records and ensure proper documentation for all accounting transactions.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improved financial performance.
- Supervise the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.
- Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial information.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of statutory reports to regulatory authorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making and strategy development.
- Train and mentor finance personnel to bolster skill development and operational efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in accounting processes and financial reporting.
- Coordinate with suppliers, banks, and government agencies as needed to resolve finance-related issues.
