Job Descriptions:-
- Operational Management
- Oversee end-to-end courier operations
- Make Supply Chain Management more effective
- Manage Import and Export
- To ensure daily tasks are completed within time to avoid any complaints
- Take ownership of special projects to make dept. more efficient and effective
- Participate in calls and meeting as representative of the Dept.
- Assist other departments when they seek help
- Coordinate with cross functions such as HR, Admin, IT, Software based on the requirement
- Share feedback to direct reports as and when needed
- Conduct monthly performance review for direct report
- Take process improvement initiatives
- Recommendations for process development based on customer feedback and analysis of the same.
- Communication and being a focal point of dissemination of information from Manager to team.
- Maintain confidentiality of the department's strategies
- Sensitive to customer / business needs and solution driven
Key Skills:-
- Prior work experience is usually required to work in a job in operations management together with a sound understanding of the international/domestic courier industry.
- Strong organisational skills together with the ability to multi-task are essential.
- You must be able to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance principles, methods, design, testing and implementation relating to operations management.
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, together with strong interpersonal skills are essential.
- You must be able to problem solve and make decisions under pressure.
- An Operations Manager must have excellent written and numeracy skills.
- You must have competent IT skills and be aware and able to operate industry standard software used in Operations Management within the Courier industry
Education:
- Must be Bachelor's - Master's(Preferred)
