We are looking for an Accountant for a Complex Building Construction Project in Islamabad.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Maintain financial records (Bookkeeping) using various software (Xero, Quick book, VT, Sage 50, and Excel)
- Analyze financial data using different analysis tools and techniques
- Prepare financial statements.
- Draft letters and other necessary documents for correspondence.
- Manage cash, and accounting activities, as well as cost analysis, bank transactions/payroll payment processing.
- Keep a track record of regular Payments to laborers, Sub Contractors, and vendors including petty purchases.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
- Maintain leave and attendance records for employees.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll.
- Reconcile employee tax and statutory deductions.
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely submissions.
Skills:
- Expertise in Xero, Sage 50, Quickbook, and Excel are preferable
- Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills
- Understanding of accounting and financial processes
- Ethical and professional behavior
