We are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging MS Office Instructor to join our faculty team. The successful candidate will be responsible for equipping students with essential digital literacy and workplace productivity skills through comprehensive instruction in the Microsoft Office Suite. This role requires the ability to simplify technical concepts for beginners, enabling students to develop practical skills that will support their academic and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery: Teach detailed modules covering Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with optional instruction in Access and Outlook. Lessons will range from basic to advanced levels to accommodate diverse student needs.
- Practical Training: Design and oversee hands-on lab sessions where students apply concepts such as advanced Excel formulas, professional Word document formatting, and dynamic PowerPoint presentations.
- Course Development: Prepare and regularly update lesson plans, practice exercises, lab assignments, and real-world project scenarios to ensure course relevance and engagement.
- Student Assessment: Administer quizzes, practical lab exams, and final assessments to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Classroom Management: Foster a disciplined, interactive, and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.
- Administration: Maintain accurate records by tracking attendance, grading assignments, and managing student documentation for certification purposes.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in teaching or training students in computer fundamentals and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word (including formatting and mail merge), Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, conditional formatting), and PowerPoint (animations, slide masters).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to instruct clearly in both English and Urdu.
- Strong patience and a passion for mentoring beginners, including troubleshooting student issues during live lab sessions.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
