MS Tech Solutions Pty Ltd is an Australian-based company seeking an experienced SEO & Digital Marketing professional for a part-time remote position.

The primary focus of this role is SEO, Local SEO and Google Business Profile optimisation. This is not an entry level SEO position.

We operate service-based businesses in Melbourne, Australia and want to improve our organic Google rankings, local search visibility and genuine customer enquiries without relying heavily on paid advertising.

The successful candidate should be able to work independently, identify SEO opportunities, analyse competitors and implement improvements rather than simply follow instructions.

The role is approximately 3–5 hours per day with flexible working hours. Social media, content and basic virtual-assistant duties may also be required, but SEO and organic lead generation are the main priorities.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement SEO and Local SEO strategies for Australian service based businesses.
Optimise and actively manage Google Business Profiles to improve local/map visibility.
Conduct keyword research, particularly high-intent local service keywords.
Perform competitor analysis and identify opportunities to outrank local competitors.
Improve on-page SEO, including titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, content and service/location pages.
Identify and assist with technical SEO issues, indexing, site speed and website structure.
Use Google Search Console and Google Analytics to monitor rankings, traffic and performance.
Build and improve legitimate local citations and business listings.
Develop useful website content and SEO-focused blogs where required.
Monitor keyword rankings and provide simple progress reports.
Focus on increasing organic phone calls, enquiries and leads, not simply website traffic.
Manage Google Business Profile posts, photos, services and other relevant updates.
Assist with Facebook/Instagram content when required.
Occasionally assist with customer enquiries, follow-ups and basic administrative tasks.
Work independently, research solutions and proactively recommend improvements.
