- Preparing and verifying documents for shipments, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bill of lading, and other necessary documents for customs clearance.
- Ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, including export control regulations and customs requirements.
- Communicating with freight forwarders, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate processing of export documents.
- Keeping records of all export documentation, maintaining accurate and organized files.
- Checking the accuracy of documentation to ensure it matches the terms of the sales agreement.
- Coordinating with internal departments, such as sales and logistics, to ensure timely delivery of goods and documentation.
- Assisting in resolving any issues or discrepancies related to export documentation.
- Staying up-to-date with changes in international trade regulations and customs requirements.
- Assisting in the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to export documentation.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Export Documentation Manager or other superiors.
