Summary
Our web developer participates in the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of web applications. The ideal candidate will be designing and developing basic to complex user flows in web applications to provide first class user experience. Integrating with RESTful API backend services. Strong PHP, JavaScript and programming abilities.
Responsibilities:
Design and development of practical software solutions to business requirements constrained by time, resources, and infrastructure.
Developing cross- browser/devices user interfaces that target multiple browsers and devices.
Participate in architecture discussions and decisions.
Interact with product owners.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3 and cross browser development
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent required
Skills and Knowledge:
Required
- HTML / CSS
- PHP / SQL
- JavaScript ( jQuery will be a plus ) / AJAX
- JSON / REST APIs
- Wordpress
Experience with developing the web application and implementation of using PHP, AJAX, HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Xamp or Lamp server experience is a must.
Overall understanding of web architecture and UI frameworks
Preferred
Experience in developing interactive user interface design and layouts
Experience with RESTful services and UI integration using PHP, JSON and AJAX a must.
Experience with libraries such as JQuery, Bootstrap are nice to have
Experience with Wordpress
Ability to analyze web application performance
Familiar with web debugging tools like Chrome Dev Tools etc
Can work independently when needed
