We are looking for a number of talented English language healthcare content writers to write viral articles for an online media company specializing in the healthcare and wellness sector. This is a remote-position, reporting into a UK based agency.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
● Developing new web-based content on a regular basis
● Writing SEO optimized articles around pre-selected keywords
● Writing an average of 400-900 word articles, blog posts and email newsletters
● Minimum of 3-5 writing pieces per week.
● Researching various topics and generating fresh ideas for new content
● Liaising with your point of contact to produce correct content standards
● Implementing best practices of web-based writing
● Proof-reading feedback will be provided for required changes.
● Content curation capabilities required
● You will ensure that your work is always publishable, and of the highest quality.
● We own 100% rights to the content produced as result of this engagement
Person specification:
● Experience of writing for magazines and news publishers (health and travel magazines, journals, blogs etc)
● PR agency experience preferred
● Bachelor in English language, literature, communications, journalism, media studies or a healthcare related field
● Knowledge of health and wellness trends is highly desirable
● Medical background is an advantage but not essential
● A genuine passion for writing, particularly for an online audience
● Professional attitude and ability to deliver to deadlines
● Outstanding English writing capabilities and copywriting skills
● Deliver content that is grammatically accurate, clear, SEO friendly and right first time
● Proficient in Microsoft Word using tracked changes
● Awareness of grammatical rules and the differences in British and American spellings
● Available portfolio of written content either published or unpublished
