- Liaise with financial institutions to arrange new finance facilities.
- Monitor the financial landscape, with a focus on the banking and corporate sectors.
- Ensure accurate calculation and timely payment of markup to banks.
- Manage stock pledged with banks and Muccadams effectively.
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of Letters of Credit (LCs), from opening to retirement.
- Develop tax planning strategies and ensure the effective implementation of standardized processes.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws, analyze their impact, and provide insights to support compliance and informed decision-making.
- Identify potential opportunities to leverage tax exemptions and available benefits.
- Prepare and file sales tax and income tax returns accurately and on time.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records related to all tax matters.
- Process payments with appropriate tax withholdings to safeguard the organization's interests.
- Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by senior management.
