Multimedia Content Specialist (Video Making and Editing)

Gulf Star Services is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Videographer / Video Editor to join their team in Karachi on a full-time, on-site basis. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of experience in videography and video editing, with a strong creative flair and technical skills to produce compelling video content for social media platforms and marketing campaigns. This role involves shooting, editing, and producing high-quality videos that enhance the company’s brand presence across various digital channels. The working schedule is Monday through Saturday, from 9:45 AM to 6:30 PM, with a monthly salary range of PKR 70,000 to 80,000, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Shoot high-quality video footage for social media, promotional campaigns, advertisements, and company events.
- Edit videos tailored for platforms such as Instagram Reels, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other digital outlets.
- Create engaging promotional videos featuring company services, team members, and brand ambassadors.
- Manage camera equipment, lighting setups, audio recording, and basic production tasks.
- Incorporate transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, sound effects, music, and color grading as needed.
- Develop creative video concepts and collaborate closely with the marketing team on content planning.
- Ensure all videos comply with platform-specific formats, quality standards, and branding guidelines.
- Organize and maintain video footage, project files, and media assets efficiently.
- Stay updated on the latest social media trends, editing techniques, and short-form video formats.

Required Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in videography and video editing.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalents.
- Hands-on experience with cameras, lighting, microphones, and other video production equipment.
- Strong understanding of framing, composition, storytelling, color grading, and sound editing.
- Proven ability to create engaging short-form videos and promotional content for social media platforms.
- Basic skills in motion graphics and animation are considered an advantage.
- Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous videography and video editing work is required.
