The Music Curator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Islamabad. The primary responsibility is to select, organize, and maintain music catalogs and playlists that reflect the company’s creative vision and resonate with audience preferences. This includes discovering new artists and tracks, evaluating submissions, and curating music for various labels, campaigns, and digital platforms. The curator works closely with A&R, marketing, and production teams to develop themed playlists, support music releases, and maintain consistent artistic quality across multiple genres. Daily tasks involve researching music trends, analyzing listener data, preparing curation briefs, tagging and categorizing tracks, and optimizing content for digital distribution channels.

Key Responsibilities
- Select and organize music catalogs and playlists aligned with the company’s creative direction and audience interests.
- Discover and evaluate new artists and music submissions to enhance the company’s offerings.
- Collaborate with A&R, marketing, and production teams to design themed playlists and support music releases.
- Conduct research on music trends and analyze audience insights and streaming data to inform curation decisions.
- Prepare detailed curation briefs and maintain accurate tagging and categorization of tracks and metadata.
- Optimize music content for digital platforms and ensure consistent artistic quality across genres.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of diverse music genres, including Pakistani pop, indie, folk, ghazals, as well as global music trends.
- Proven experience in music selection, catalog management, playlist organization, and metadata accuracy.
- Proficiency in music research and analysis using audience insights, streaming data, and market trends.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with A&R, marketing, production teams, and artists.
- Familiarity with digital music platforms, content management systems, and basic audio tools.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Islamabad and adapt to a dynamic, creative work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Music, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in music curation or programming.
