MY Equipment is seeking a talented Search Engine Marketing (SEO/SEM) Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing SEO/SEM strategies that drive growth, revenue, and customer acquisition. MYE's mission is to simplify the customer experience through strategic innovation, experience design, and technology.
The Search Engine Marketing (SEO/SEM) Specialist will have the opportunity to work on 2 projects of the company targeting a niche , help create new concepts that bring the customer journey to life through web, UX, and experience design, and contribute to making visitors happy
Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify target keywords and optimize website content accordingly.
- Optimize website metadata, such as page titles and descriptions, to improve search engine rankings and click-through rates.
- Perform ongoing site audits to identify technical issues that may negatively impact website visibility and search engine rankings.
- Develop and implement link-building strategies to increase website authority and drive referral traffic.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on website traffic, rankings, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Keep up to date with industry developments and best practices in SEO and search engine algorithms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content creators, developers, and designers, to ensure SEO best practices are incorporated into all aspects of website design and development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, computer science, or a related field
- Proven experience in developing and implementing successful SEO and SEM strategies
- A minimum of 2 years experience managing Google Ads campaigns through inception, research, set-up and ongoing optimizations
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, and Ahrefs
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
