Naeem Electronics (Pvt.) Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Accounts Manager to support our finance department at the Sialkot office.
The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a preference for ACCA or ACMA certification, and has at least 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles. This role focuses on managing essential accounting functions such as accounts payable and receivable, general ledger management, taxation compliance, and audit coordination. The Assistant Accounts Manager applies strong analytical skills and thorough knowledge of accounting standards to assist in accurate financial reporting and reconciliation. The position requires proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced formulas like VLOOKUP, as well as experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP Financial Accounting (FI). The candidate will play an important role in maintaining accurate and compliant financial records, supporting audit processes, and enhancing the effectiveness of financial operations. While this role does not involve team management, it demands excellent communication abilities and problem-solving skills to liaise with various departments and ensure efficient financial workflows.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and ledger accounts to support accurate financial reporting.
- Coordinate tax compliance activities to adhere to statutory regulations and support tax filing requirements.
- Assist in audit coordination by preparing required documentation and responding to auditors’ inquiries.
- Perform detailed financial analysis and prepare reports that provide insights into financial performance and liabilities.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly to maintain financial accuracy.
- Utilize MS Excel, including advanced formulas and functions like VLOOKUP, to organize and analyze financial data.
- Leverage SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and ERP accounting software to manage account entries and financial information.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting standards while documenting financial procedures.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all financial data is accurately processed and reported.
- Collaborate with other departments to obtain necessary financial information and resolve account-related issues.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and enhance financial reporting efficiency.
- Maintain updated knowledge of financial regulations, taxation laws, and ERP system enhancements relevant to accounting tasks.
