Fashion Photo Editor will be working closely with various team members in the production and editorial team. The ideal candidate must have a passion for fashion and photography with a keen eye for trends. Along with the ability to be a detail-oriented self-starter, the ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with the ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Photo retouching of product photography taken on live models and fashion merchandise with high attention to detail.
- Image color correcting, cropping, sourcing, re-naming and maintaining archives.
- Cross-referencing all collected photography among web, print and retail.
- Achieve high volume daily production goals and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
- Upload finished images to server.
- Communicate regularly with various creative team members and management to ensure production deadlines are met.
- Other special projects as needed.
Requirements:
- AA/BA/BS in photography, visual arts, or related major.
- Entry level position.
- Prior experience working in photo editing, internship ok.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite such as CS6 or Creative Cloud.
- Capability of working in either PC or Mac.
- Working knowledge of photo editing industry standards, technologies.
- Understanding of image delivery best practices.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and ability to have excellent follow through in all phases of each project.
- Ability to work as a positive team player to collaborate with team members and take direction.
