In line with our strategy, the Bank is looking for talented, dedicated, and experienced professional(s) for the following position in the area of Digital Banking based in Karachi.

The individuals who fulfill the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following position:

Wing Head BI Data Governance & Analytics (VP / SVP)

Reporting to:

Divisional Head Digital Analytics, Insights, and Strategy

Educational /Professional Qualification:

• Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan

• Candidates having Bachelors / Masters degree (recognized by the HEC) in Computer Science and / or Electrical Engineering and / or Software Engineering and / or Computer Information Systems and / or Engineering and / or Information Technology and / or Data Science and / or DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) and / or ICCP Certified Data Governance and Stewardship Professional (DGSP) will be preferred

Experience:

• Minimum 08 years of experience in Data Management and / or Data Governance and / or relevant fields in Fintech and / or Telecom and / or Capital Markets and / or Financial Institutions
• Candidates having experience in establishing Data Governance Frameworks and / or Policies Formulation and / or Standards Operating Procedure Development and / or Data Quality Management and / or Data Classification and / or Metadata Management, and / or Data Lineage will be preferred

Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required:

• Strong ability to design and implement enterprise-wide data governance programs, with proven experience in policy development, enforcement, and monitoring frameworks

• Understanding of regulatory requirements impacting data usage, privacy, and governance, along with hands on expertise in data governance tools and technologies e.g. (Informatica and / or Talend, etc.)

• Excellent communication and influencing skills to engage stakeholders while driving cultural change and fostering a data stewardship mindset across the organization

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities:

• To define and execute the Banks data engineering strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and digital banking

• To develop and implement the enterprise-wide data governance strategy, framework, policies, and standards

• To ensure strict compliance with local and international regulatory requirements (SBP, GDPR, ISO, etc.)

• To establish and oversee data quality, stewardship, and accountability frameworks across business units

• To lead and coordinate data governance councils / committees to ensure cross-functional alignment

• To drive initiatives for metadata management, data lineage, cataloging, and Master Data Management (MDM)

• To collaborate with business, IT, compliance, and risk stakeholders to embed governance principles

• To evaluate, implement, and manage data governance tools and technologies (Informatica, Talend, etc.)

• To proactively identify and mitigate risks related to data privacy, protection, and governance controls

• To define and monitor KPIs, metrics, and dashboards to measure governance effectiveness

• To provide regular reports and insights to senior management, audit, and board-level committees

• To drive awareness, training, and cultural change programs to foster data stewardship across the organization

• To support strategic initiatives and digital transformation programs by ensuring trusted and well-governed data

• To perform any other assignment as assigned by supervisor(s)

Employment Type:

The employment will be on contractual basis for three years which may be renewed ondiscretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensationpackage and other benefits as per Banks Policy / rules.
