We are seeking an experienced CNC Wire Cut Operator to join our precision machining facility. You will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC EDM Wire Cut machines to manufacture high-tolerance tools, dies, and precise mechanical components.Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC Wire Cut EDM machines according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Read, interpret, and process engineering sketches and technical specifications.
- Perform basic programming, code adjustments, and select the correct wires and cutting parameters.
- Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance on the machines to minimize downtime.
- Inspect finished parts using precision tools (micrometers, calipers) to ensure high dimensional accuracy.
- Education: Matric, DAE Mechanical, or technical course certificate from an accredited institute.
- Experience: 1–3 years of practical experience operating CNC Wire Cut or EDM machines.
- Ability to read mechanical blueprints and understand tight structural machining tolerances.
- Willingness to work in shifts if required.
