This role offers a chance to work within the Industry/Inspection Services department, reporting to the Lead Oil & Gas, and collaborating closely with inspection, operations, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform conventional Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) examinations, including Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT/MPI), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT/DPT), and Visual Testing (VT).
- Conduct Advanced Non-Destructive Testing (ANDT) examinations as per qualifications and project requirements.
- Carry out tubing inspections of heat exchangers, boilers, condensers, and other tubular equipment using techniques such as ECT, IRIS, and RFT.
- Execute Long Range Ultrasonic Testing (LRUT) and Guided Wave Ultrasonic Testing (GWUT) on piping and relevant components.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain NDT/ANDT equipment and accessories.
- Analyze and interpret examination data, evaluating indications according to applicable standards and acceptance criteria.
- Prepare accurate, complete, and traceable inspection reports.
- Review examination data, calibration records, and inspection documentation.
- Interpret engineering drawings, weld maps, piping isometrics, and equipment drawings.
- Support inspection activities during fabrication, construction, maintenance, and shutdown/turnaround projects.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, QA/QC personnel, and internal project teams.
- Maintain proper identification and traceability of inspection results.
- Identify technical or equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, reporting hazards and incidents promptly.
- Travel to client/project locations within Pakistan and internationally as required.

Required Qualifications

- Valid ASNT/PCN/ISO NDT Level-II certifications in Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), and Radiographic Testing (RT).
- Certification or demonstrated competency in relevant ANDT techniques.
- Diploma, DAE, or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Materials Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Training in both conventional and advanced NDT techniques, including UT, DPT, MPI, RT, Eddy Current Testing (ECT), Internal Rotary Inspection System (IRIS), Neutron Flux Testing (NFT), LRUT, Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD), Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT), and Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL).
- Working knowledge of ASME (Sections V and VIII), API (510, 570, 653), ASTM, ISO 9712, SNT-TC-1A standards, and relevant NDT/ANDT procedures.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on industrial NDT/inspection experience.
- Experience with heat exchangers, boilers, condensers, process piping, pressure vessels, and other industrial equipment.
- Familiarity with oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, fertilizer, power, fabrication, offshore/onshore, or heavy industrial sectors.
- Shutdown/turnaround experience is advantageous.
- Strong practical inspection skills, data analysis, report writing, and client communication abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and good computer skills.
- Strong commitment to HSE practices and safety discipline.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams under project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Tubing inspection and LRUT/GWUT certification with hands-on experience are preferred.
- Additional qualifications in PAUT, TOFD, and MFL are considered an advantage.
